Hi!

My name is Sam Cox and I am a lighting designer, assistant, programmer, and electrician in the Oklahoma City area. I am a recent graduate from the University of Central Oklahoma, where I earned my B.F.A. in Theatre Design and Technology. I have always had a love for theatre, although I didn't realize it was a legitimate career choice until my freshman year of high school. My passion for lighting design really flourished after having the opportunity to design my high school's production of Argonautika in 2018. Since then, I have been so privileged to learn more about design from a wide variety of professors and companies. I love the collaborative nature of theatre and I can only hope to further expand my lens with every show I design. When I'm not designing, you can find me in community dance classes (especially tap!)
